SUSTAIN THE GROUND YOU’VE GAINED WITH UNITY THROUGH COMMUNITY

steps to independence

What happens after sober living?

Once our residents are ready to transition into independent living, what support is available to help them navigate everyday life successfully? This is where our “Steps to Independence” program can help.

What we offer:

Steps to Independence offers ethical drug screening, life coaching, family support coaching, and the guidance to navigate through the transition to independent living. Clients will have check-ins throughout the week with a (CSAC or CPSS) support person, involvement with community events, and the option to participate in yoga, meditation, and our weekly community meal with 12-step meeting.

Who we are:

We are a group of substance abuse counselors, peer support specialists, certified life coaches, and people with long-term recovery who share the goal of offering guidance and support to young men as they transition from sober living to independent living. We believe the transition into independence can be successful if there is an essential support system in place, and our goal is to offer the experience and wisdom of our community. We have experienced some important changes in our lives and attitudes, and now is the time to travel with purpose down the road of recovery.
